In 2002 Melissa was cherry picked to front a new BBC Two prime time series "GET A NEW LIFE" which helped British families start a brand new life abroad. this series played to Melissa's strengths as a property and travel addict and all round people person! Now Melissa is one of TVs most sought after lifestyle addicts. She relishes the opportunity to advise people on how to transform their lives, and her television projects are based on a solid business foundation.

Never one to turn down a challenge, she has successfully branched out into property and travel writing, modeling, voice over work and hosting live events and awards ceremonies.

Melissa co-owns a property design company; Uber Interiors. Providing a complete bespoke, design and renovation service to discerning clients. When Melissa’s not working she likes to indulge in her two other passions, travel and sports. In the past two years she’s been lucky enough to require two passports to house all her ‘countries visited’ stamps! She enjoys tennis, motoring, sailing, water and snow skiing, quite simply keeping herself busy and having fun!
