Following an earlier career in the theatre and as a manager of The Royal Ballet in London, Candida returned to studying and graduated with the Royal School of Art's Advanced Diploma in Photography. She has been working as a free-lance photographer & graphic/web designer for 5 years. Using predominately natural light, Candida draws on both traditional & contemporary photographic practises, working freely between digital and film, colour and B&W. In addition to her enduring images of children, her portfolio of work encompasses adult portraiture, still-life & travel photography.

As well as private commissions, Candida also regularly undertakes corporate and commerical projects in both a photographic and design capacity, working in various disciplines including brand identity, print collateral, website design and development.

Candida supports the Rainbow Trust Children's Charity (rainbowtrust.org.uk) which provides practical and emotional support to families who have a child with a life threatening or terminal illness.
